Don't schools and colleges teach young people how to prepare for and ask for, work experience? &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;OK, this is how you do it! Six Top Tips&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;1. Think what you (the person enquiring) can offer us (the employer)&lt;br&gt;
2. Don't focus on what we ought to be doing for you (it's the reverse)&lt;br&gt;
3. Be polite - remember we are doing you a favour!&lt;br&gt;
4. Be ready to negotiate dates and times&lt;br&gt;
5. Bring your CV along &amp; anything else you think we might want to look at&lt;br&gt;
6. PLEASE research us first - most organisations (if not all) have websites!&lt;/p&gt;
